The Key to Be Strong
Want to be the strongest man on earth? The secret is revealed. Mariusz Pudzianowski, who won the World’s Strongest Man title for a fifth time, has disclosed his basic strength supplement.
Mariusz started training in strength sports at the age of 13½, in December 1990. Mariusz mentioned that malted milk is his main strength supplement. "I met a kid, he was 12 years old," which he stated during a talk. He said that he cannot lift the boy even he tried to until the boy lifted him for few inches. This motivated him to work out and to be the strongest man in the world.
Malted milk appears from a mixture of whole milk, wheat flour, and malted barley, which is evaporated until it forms into a powder. Malted milk comes in two forms: diastatic and non-diastatic. A diastatic malted milk has proteins that break starch into sugar, while non-diastatic malt has no active enzymes. The former is added by the baker’s dough to create a good crust and help the yeast rise, and the latter is primarily used to add flavour and sometimes contains the following: sugar, colouring agents, and other additives.
The ideas for an improved, wheat and malt-base nutritional supplement for infants were developed by London pharmacist James Horlick. It was originally marketed as “Diastoid,” but was trademarked as “malted milk” in 1887.
People who want to be strong may take malted milk, and who knows, may be able to lift heavy objects just like the World’s Strongest Man, Mariusz Pdzianowski. Aside from exercise and proper diet, malted milk is the key to strength.
