The greatest champion to dominate the World Strongest Man Federation Competition is Mariusz Pudzianowski from Poland. Mariusz, known by the name of Pudzian, or Dominator, has won the competition in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2008.
It was in 1999 when he first entered his first Strongest Man Competition, which was held in Płock, Poland. His first major triumph at the international level was winning fourth place in the World’s Strongest Man 2000 competition. Mariusz first success for the title World’s Strongest Man was in the year 2002, when the event was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The following year he again won Strongman Super Series World Champion, held in Victoria Falls, Zambia. He won third place in the World Strongest Man Championship in 2004, but later he was disqualified by the IFSA. Subsequently after receiving a year ban, Mariusz came back to the ring to hold the title for the third time in 2005, when the event was held in Chengdu, China. His success continued in the competition in 2007, when it was held in California in the United States, where he regained his title as World’s Strongest Man. Pudzianowski targeted to win the event for the fifth time, which he did by successfully defending his title the World’s Strongest Man 2008 held in West Virginia, USA.
Mariusz Pudzianowski paved his legacy by winning the title for the fifth time, and being recognised as the greatest champion in this sports event.
