Mariusz Pudzianowski: Major Achievements
Mariusz Pudzianowski is a strongman competitor. He won more World’s Strongest Man titles than anybody else, winning the competition in 2008 for the fifth time.
On May 1, 1999, Mariusz joined his first strongman contest held in Plock, Poland. He got his first major win at the international level in 2000, when he became the fourth-place finisher in his first World’s Strongest Man competition. In 2002, he returned to win the WSM contest, and retained his title in 2003 by the largest margin ever accomplished in the competition. In March of 2004, he achieved the Strongman Super Series World Champion. He finished third in the WSM contest in 2004, but was later disqualified and was forced to return his awards and receive a year ban from the competition. However, Pudzianowski did not argue over his violation on prohibited substance, and claimed his right to have his stool exam verified. He then returned to win the title for the third time in 2005. In the 2006 World’s Strongest Man contest he was second to Phil Pfiser. In the last event, the Atlas Stones, the two went head-to-head and Pfister narrowly beat Pudzianowski. He redeemed his title in 2007, winning with one event to spare. In the WSM 2007 competition, Pudzianowski’s goal was to become the only person to win the event five times, which he did by winning the WSM 2008 competition in the very last event.
Aside from WSM, Mariusz is known for practising martial art. Also, he was a professional boxer for seven years before he competed in strongman competitions. He then won a lot of lifting contest. A branded usb drive could be handy for any weight training plans you need to store safely.
